Air Cargo Security - Employee

Content & Objective

This basic training offers an initial insight into the most important subjects related to civil aviation security and has been drawn up in accordance with the requirements of EU 2015/1998 art. 11.2.3.9.
The training contains broad information about:

  • • Attacks on civil aviation
    • Organization and legislation within civil aviation security
    • Secured air freight chain and its participants
    • Prohibited articles & security screening
    • Emergency situation responses

By means of a written test immediately after the training, evaluation is made as to whether the participants possess all the competencies that are required according to EU 2015/1998 art 11.2.3.9.

Audience

The target audience for this training consists of all persons working at a secured entity, Known Consignor or Regulated Agent, having access to clearly identified air cargo and mail implementing security controls other than screening.
Whether it is the warehouse manager who carries out acceptance checks on the incoming goods, the HR manager who is looking for new colleagues to strengthen the team or the forwarder who prints the air waybill with the correct security status ... every person is part of the secure chain and has, within its own profile, a security responsibility! Within airfreight security we're all responsible!

During the training the theoretical knowledge is linked with the day to day reality and security tasks of the participants. In this way the content remains very close to the practice and offers a lot of added value for all different profiles within a Regulated Agent / Known Consignor.

Note: before any person can follow any security training including information which is not publicly available, the Regulated Agent / Known Consignor is responsible to perform a complete background check and assess whether the right abilities and aptitudes are available for each candidate. By subscribing staff to this training, MT training considers these requirements to be fulfilled by the Regulated Agent / Known Consignor.
